Having a home based office can be an opportunity and a challenge! Super-organized Anita (!) decided that she could have the office painted and carpeted within a week – challenge? Oh YES! After being in business for 15+ years, one does accumulate (did I say Professional Organizer yet?) ‘stuff’ … but as I would tell my clients … just set your timer and work 15 minutes at a time – NOT when you are painting AND carpeting in one week!

This becomes a marathon opportunity, that’s right, opportunity! Paper, paper everywhere! Binders, supplies, paper clips, staplers, phones and don’t forget the computer equipment … it multiplies while we sleep!

And, by the way, keep trying to run your business while all this activity goes on around you …

NOW, the best part … I didn’t want the painter to do ONLY the office! Oh, no!! I had my bedroom painted as well … okay...
